SimpleWebDesign can provide the following services:
Website Design - we will work
with you to design your website from the very beginning,
using whatever logos, ideas, colour schemes or layouts you
require - and naturally, we will apply our experience of
building striking, easy to navigate websites. All our designs
start with a mockup which is reviewed and accepted by you
before we start work on the site. Making changes at this
early stage is much easier than changing things further
down the development cycle, so we think it's worth getting
it right.
Dynamic Content - while we don't
set out to build large e-commerce or database driven websites,
there are many things we can do to make your site interesting,
informative and above all, useful. We can provide photo
galleries, we can password protect areas of your website,
and we can provide simple ways of maintaining and displaying
information such as a business
directory or a large list
of papers. The latter 2 examples are easily maintained
via an Excel spreadsheet which is converted into code that
is then simply uploaded to your site - in other words, to
maintain complex information like this on your site, all
you need to do is be able to use a spreadsheet. This gives
you control over your site and keeps maintenance costs down.
Logo Design - If you don't have
a logo, we can design one for you. We may not be as innovative
as a professional design studio, but we're much cheaper!
Many of our customer's logos were designed by us! We can
also breathe new life into existing logos by digitally manipulating
them to remove noise, improve the resolution or embolden
the colours. We will provide high-quality digital copies
of any logos that we produce or enhance.
Maintenance and Support - once
we have built your site and it has been published to the
web, that site is yours. If you want to maintain and publish
changes, that's fine, but if you wish, we will be more than
happy to maintain it for you for a very reasonable rate.
Scanning Service - we can provide
a scanning service if you have photographs or documents
that you want to put on the site. This is charged purely
on a time basis.
