You may think that a band with a combined age of over 300 years would be as stale and dull as leftover Christmas turkey, but Derbyshire-based six-piece OLD PECULIAR could never be described in that way! The vocal harmony group formed in 2002 following massive national and international success with touring company, Compact Theatre. Through a trilogy of plays, the ‘boys’ have become widely known as Old Spice and due to numerous positive responses and demand from their ever-faithful fan base, Old Peculiar was born!

The six individuals – each with very different personalities, influences and musical tastes – decided to focus their energies on music rather than theatre. Old Peculiar have been entertaining audiences ever since! With their unique brand of ‘rockapella’ and a natural stage presence which draws the crowd in, Old Peculiar entertain all ages with their ever-growing song repertoire, which covers the last five decades – most of which have original arrangements written especially for this unique group!!
